Salutations to our esteemed cadre of researchers, committed disciples of learning, and
distinguished academics from various disciplines. It is my singular honor to usher you into the
2nd Asia Pacific Conference on Educational Research, Social Science, and Humanities
(APCERSSH-2023). This prestigious assembly is painstakingly orchestrated by the Institute for
Engineering Research and Publication (IFERP) Thailand Society, in collaborative synergy with St.
Rita’s College of Balingasag, Philippines. Today, we converge in this academic arena, unified in
our endeavor to contemplate and confront the intricate challenges besetting our contemporary
society.
As we reflect on the recent past, the year 2020 invariably stands out as a watershed moment in
our collective narrative. The COVID-19 pandemic dramatically realigned the global paradigm,
leaving no facet of human existence unscathed. The world of education found itself in the
crucible of change, necessitating an expeditious recalibration of traditional teaching
methodologies. Educational institutions around the globe displayed remarkable adaptability,
espousing innovative digital platforms as a novel modus operandi, thus ensuring the perpetuity
of quality education amidst unprecedented adversity.
This monumental shift towards a predominantly virtual learning environment, however, was
not without its tribulations. In the wake of prolonged isolation, learners navigated the vast and
complex digital landscape, sometimes straying into potentially perilous territories. Against this
backdrop, I urge each one of you to bring your insights and experiences to this intellectual
tableau. Let us leverage this platform to dissect, debate, and delineate effective strategies to
address the complexities and potential pitfalls of both virtual and physical learning
environments. I remain confident that our collective endeavor will cast a new light on the broad
spectrum of research opportunities in education, social sciences, and humanities.
This exceptional symposium would remain a mere vision if not for the tireless efforts and
unyielding commitment of our organizers. Their meticulous planning and execution have
culminated in what promises to be a groundbreaking and unforgettable scientific exploration.
We owe them our deepest appreciation and gratitude.
As we embark on this illuminating academic journey together, I leave you with a Latin aphorism
to ponder and carry with you: AD ASTRA PER ASPERA - "Through hardships to the stars." It is a
reminder of our shared resolve and commitment to surmount challenges in our relentless
pursuit of knowledge.

In conclusion, I hope that our conference ignites a wealth of new ideas, fosters enriching
collaborations, and seeds innovative solutions to the myriad challenges we face. I am eager to
see the fruits of our collective wisdom and discourse in the form of ground-breaking research,
policy recommendations, and strategies for improvement. May you all leave this conference
with renewed vigor, enriched perspectives, and a deeper commitment to our shared mission of
advancing education, social sciences, and humanities.
With this, I extend to each of you my heartfelt wishes for an enlightening, productive, and truly
remarkable conference.
