Abstract:This study was aimed to examine the frequent variations in four selected physico-chemical
parameters of surface water of two lakes in Laguna: Laguna de Bay in Calamba City and
Sampaloc Lake in San Pablo City. Parameters such as conductivity, dissolved oxygen (DO), pH,
and temperature were determined for almost a year that is from January to September 2018.
The
two lakes are both freshwater body, different data are collected and observed throughout the
sampling. Due to various anthropogenic activities, the lakes are biotically affected. The water
quality of the two important lakes in Laguna have been compared in different parameters like
pH, DO, conductivity, water temperature and color. The result indicates that both lakes are
within the standard (25-31°C) of DENR Administrative Order (DAO 2016-08 for Class C), but
except for water temperature which exceeds the standard value (36.37°C mean values). The
results support insights about the future effects of increased water temperature on fish
management and the lake ecosystem for numerous aquatic purposes. This is also for the
management and call on action for the residents and local government unit in said municipalities
of Laguna.

Abstract: Mathematics not only emphasizes the mastery of concepts and principles, but
mathematics also has a mission to build student affection through mathematical
disposition and resilience. Not only elementary students but also college students have
the potential to have a negative attitude toward mathematics. If this happens, the
dynamics of affection in mathematics learning must be questioned. In this study the
researchers focused on the affection of mathematics, namely mathematical disposition
and resilience. To further the investigation, this study aims to analyze the perceptions of
primary teacher education students from Sanata Dharma University in the Numbers and
Algebra Course terms in the context of mathematical disposition and resilience. Through
a qualitative approach involving 98 students from two different classes, the results of this
study showed that: 1) factors that influence students' attitudes towards mathematics are
their early motivation, 2) attitudes towards mathematics are related to activities and
student learning outcomes, 3) aspects of mathematical disposition that need to be
optimized are self-confidence and curiosity, 4) aspects of mathematical resilience to note
are efficacy and resilience. This study has significant implications for implementing
learning, especially in the context of mathematical disposition and resilience. The results
of this study can be used as initial diagnostic recommendations in learning planning that
leads to effective student outcomes.

Abstract : Digitalization is advancing and changing our world, and with it the whole Economy.
Universities must meet this changing demand with new training offers. The AUFLADEN
(Charging) project, funded by the Stiftung Innovation in der Hochschullehre, is developing new
training formats for students involved in construction planning, predominantly students of
architecture and civil engineering. One of the questions of the research project and the subject of
this article is whether and how Robotic Process Automation (RPA) can be integrated into teaching
as a learning tool to support students specifically and individually in learning software
applications through automation.
For this purpose, so-called self-learning knowledge Nuggets were developed. RPA makes it
possible to have operating steps carried out computer-aided, a technology that is becoming
popular to simplify recurring work processes. By slowing down this automation process, the user
can study and imitate necessary steps. In a case study it is determined whether better learning
results can be achieved by this training method.
The results are that the learning speed increases and the teaching effort decreases. This
encourages the use of automation technology to free teaching from method teaching and to use
the precious teaching time for higher learning targets.
Abstract : The epic "Alpomish" is reckoned as the cultural property of the Uzbek people. History, traditions,
and various rituals are embodied in this folklore. Hence, the idiosyncratic saga expresses the
faithful identity of the nation. The ethnic folk tale has been passed down orally from progenitors
to descendent for centuries. The literary configuration of the olden Uzbek language has been
maintained in the epos. Besides, it can be outlined as an upright exemplar for intertextuality by its
Islamic, historical and artistic bestows. Likewise, Uzbek matrimonies and customs are expounded
meticulously. The majority of them are still followed. This scrutiny probes intertextuality as a
sign of culture on the grounds of manifested traditions. Notwithstanding the foregoing assertions,
the epic poem has not yet been disputed as an instance of intertextuality. In consequence, the
exploration will perform as a premise for subsequent alike studies. What is more, the probing
affiliated to the inception and construction of humankind have become substantial matters at
present. Therefore, the investigation is momentous.

Abstract : What is happiness? Is there a definition for happiness or does it connects with gender? Many philosophers
give different interpretations to these queries. For me happiness is being at peace with myself. This may
include the society we inhabit, our abilities, our past, our workspace, our limitations, literatures and art
etc. Using pictures to tell stories have been a crucial medium in the history of mankind. We have evolved
from drawing on stone and papyrus and onto paper, and digital formats, but the impact of image remains
the same. One such diverse coming of age novels came into the field of graphic novels. In the turn of the
century the medium explored a wide range of themes and motifs to express creatively this new found
genre. Especially the shattering of gender stereotypes through the female characters all stemming out the
need to make their voices strongly heard in the contemporary world. This article aims to look at graphic
novels and the level of happiness achieved by the female characters under the light of gender theory. The
novels to be selected are Kari by AmrutaPatil, Sita’s Ramayana by Samhita Arni, Persepolis by Marjane
Satrapi.

Abstract :Graduates with employability skills have more job opportunities and these skills are critical to their
success. However, the so-called employability skills vary across culture and unfortunately there is no
measurement instrument that precisely measure graduate employability skills. The study, therefore aims
to empirically validate Employability Skills and assess graduating students employability skills at Prince
Mohammad Bin Fahd University, Saudi Arabia. To this end, questionnaires on employability skills were
designed and 177 valid responses were empirically analyzed. Findings of Exploratory Factor Analysis
revealed the construct validity of seven employability skills structure. Similarly, all the values of
reliabilities demonstrating satisfactory level of internal consistency. Further, to assess COBA graduating
employability skills, independent sample t test, one way and factorial ANOVA were conducted. Results
revealed that statistical differences exist for male and female graduating students with respect to
leadership and teamwork skills, results further revealed that female in accounting department and male in
Finance and MIS departments’ scores low on leadership skills. Whereas, female in Accounting
department and male in Finance and HR departments scores low on teamwork skills. On average, findings
confirmed that COBA male and female graduating students are well equipped with employability skills
and are ready for jobs. Findings of the study may assist HEIs in successfully implementing employability
initiatives that according to scholars remain sporadic in curricula. Keywords: employability skills,

Abstract :Despite the ubiquity of language anxiety (LA) and its debilitating effects on English as
a Second Language (ESL) learners in tertiary education setting in Sri Lanka, sources of LA in
ESL learners at Sri Lankan state universities remain underexplored. Further, sources of LA
investigated in other contexts cannot be generalized to the Sri Lankan context due to the
distinctive socio-political and cultural context in Sri Lanka. Hence, this study explored the
sources that evoke LA in ESL learners of state universities in Sri Lanka. Data were gathered from
both ESL teachers and learners by utilizing four research methods: questionnaire, in-depth
interviews, focus groups and ESL classroom observations. There are four major findings in
relation to LA of Sri Lankan ESL learners: (i) there are three types of anxiety sources (learner-
specific, in-class, and out-of-class); (ii) all three sources mostly co-occur in the process of
generating LA; (iii) the most significant source of anxiety in Sri Lankan ESL learners is the fear
of negative evaluation and ridicule; and (iv) all sources of LA are inextricably interrelated. These
findings have implications for ESL teachers, policy makers and curriculum planners in their
consideration of managing LA of ESL learners at state universities in Sri Lanka.

Abstract : Generation Z, or gen z, is the entire generation born from 1996 to 2012. This is also known as the
generation after the millennials. So, in 2023, children aged 10-27 belong to gen z, the internet
generation that utilizes the internet and technology to live their lives. This, of course; will affect
their way of thinking and art. Music as a universal language has a function: to be an artistic
expression for youth. One of the expressions in music is through song. On the other hand, the
musical dynamics of Indonesia have also developed along with the development of technology
and information. The lyrics used in the song will adapt and follow its development. Some
Indonesian musicians faithfully expressed their songs with Indonesian lyrics during the onslaught
of foreign languages and slang. This phenomenon has been running for a long time, along with
the dynamics of the Indonesian music industry, from time to time. Recently, there has been a
phenomenon where lyricists mix Indonesian with English or with regional languages. This study
aimed to determine the characteristics of Indonesian diction found in the musical dynamics of
Indonesia in Generation Z by taking samples of ten popular songs in early 2023 through the
Indonesian popular charts. The method used is qualitative, with a sample of 10 songs,
questionnaires, and interviews with Generation Z in addition to FGDs to reveal further diction
characteristics. The results of this study map the characteristics of diction in the musical dynamics
of Indonesia in Generation Z, which is influenced by the conversational language of social media
but still uses the characteristics of the Indonesian language in the typical song lyrics.

Abstract :This research asserts that national debt becomes burdensome when there is an increase in debt
overhang, a lack of foreign reserves to pay for short-term external debt and a lack of revenue
from the government to pay for debt service. The purpose of this study is to investigate the
connection between Indonesia's economic stability and the burden of national debt. Data collected
from 2000 to 2023, sourced from the World Development Indicators and the Statistical Bulletin of
the Central Bank of Indonesia (2022 edition), were utilized. The factors used to quantify the
obligation trouble are the all out obligation to-Gross domestic product proportion (obligation
overhang), the momentary outer obligation to-saves proportion (hold sufficiency), and the
obligation administration cost-to-government income proportion (income ampleness). The
exchange rate is considered a control variable. The real growth rate of GDP is used to evaluate
economic stability. The analysis is carried out using the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL)
model, which takes into account first differences and the stationary nature of the variables at both
levels. The ARDL estimation demonstrates that revenue sufficiency has a significant and negative
impact on economic stability over time, with the overall effect of the explanatory variables
decreasing over time.

Abstract :As a religion that carries the values of rahmatan lil alamin, Islam frames various norms in order to create an ideal life full of justice. All unjust practices are prohibited in religious teachings. Iktikar is a prohibited act because in it there is a monopoly for personal gain, that is, to get multiple profits in an inexpensive way. Public interest is torn apart by personal ambition and even undermines the common order, especially in the context of basic food needs. damage to control of staple food prices and the lack of food security is an act of wrongdoing that is forbidden in religion. This research succeeded in making a conclusion as follows; a) unequivocally the Prophet Muhammad in his various sayings stated that the practice of faith that only looks at personal interests and harms the public interest by hoarding staple food in Islam is prohibited because it is not in accordance with the values of religious teachings brought by the Prophet which is rahmatan lil alamin. b) A concrete description of what is prohibited is the practice of hoarding staple goods carried out by capital owners with the aim of monopolizing luck and undermining standard prices and even harming the public interest. Abstract : For centuries, Marginalisation has affected the niches and nooks of the world on a different level. Right from the caste system to the sexuality choices of people, we have marginalised communities everywhere. Today, in the 21st centuries these minority voices are heard due to social media awareness. Women and LGBTQIA+ community are such marginalised community to come in limelight and raise voices against the inequality and inhumanity. However, it is still a very urban phenomenon. Conversely, the rural picture still dwells in the conservative roles. Breaking the glass ceiling in Indian Army, The Supreme Court in The Secretary, Ministry of Defense v. Babita Puniya and Ors, ushered for transformative constitutionalism by breaking gender stereotypes in Indian Army. The court said that all women army officers are eligible to be appointed in commanding roles and are also entitled to permanent commissions. But the reality for members of the Rainbow community and Women in the today’s society is different. They believe it will take a long time to change regressive attitudes towards them. Media of the 21st century sure has aided a lot to conditioning the society’s mindset into accepting an egalitarian society. Movies like,’ the Great Indian Kitchen’,podcasts like,’Rocking our Priors’,series like Sex Education, books like,’Married Woman’, by Manju Kapur, are some examples. This is a study and critique to highlight how Media aids in reconceptualization of societal norms and traditions for the queer and feminine community to gain their pride and dignity with special reference to GEM(Gender Empowerment Measure).

Abstract : This paper had analyzed specific principles of Deming that focus on employee development, and the mediating role of Communication on employee development. Auto components industry in Chennai is becoming a major destination for component outsourcing of leading automobile manufacturers all over the world. Hence this research is conducted in select auto component manufacturing organizations in Chennai. Quality and employee development are two important constructs for the success of an organization's goals and to achieve this, communication has to be effective. This research proposes to create knowledge and establish a framework that would prove to be a determining stance for the policy making and interventions for holistic employee development in organizations. The Deming’s system of profound knowledge is closely linked with employee development because the fundamental idea of profound system is that it should enhance the capacity of an individual to transform within the organisation. The findings of the study strongly suggest that the umbrella of employee development should not merely cover development in the work but extend towards employee’s health, well-being and work life balance. Any negative implication on these factors would badly affect the employee productivity there by pulling down holistic employee development.

Abstract : Employees seek employee incentive strategies to assure the organization's long-term development. Extensive research has examined the function of Performance Related Pay (PRP) and Level of Motivation (LoM) in sustaining organizational development. Assessment is significant due to the fact that it is a hotly contested research topic and an essential topic for academic and business discussions. Thus, this study empirically demonstrates the significance of PRP and LoM to organizational growth. The findings are applicable to ABL and Bank Al-Falah, the two largest financial institutions in Pakistan. Two Pakistani institutions comprise the specified context. Even though the PRP literature describes numerous scenarios for developed economies, traditional industries in developing economies receive scant attention. A multiple regression analysis revealed that PRP and LoM have a significant, positive effect on organizational growth. The article also discusses theoretical and managerial implications.

Abstract :In Taiwan students study English from primary school to university according to a traditional teacher-centered orientation of lectures and homework leading to examinations, which excludes practical learning and leaves students thinking that English classes are without useful value. To inject vitality into their classes, Taiwanese educators are advancing innovative methods of teaching English. This experiment applied the flipped classroom using digital content to foster a use-value for English by using in-class activities to teach its practical acquisition in addition to academic knowledge. The orientation was introducing Taiwan to the world, while the underlying curricular pedagogy adapted the four stages of experiential learning theory (ELT) by involving students in (1) the abstract conceptualization and (2) active experimentation of making videos about both their local environments and themselves, and in (3) the concrete learning and (4) reflective observation of sending postcards to students in other countries while developing their personal portfolios. These activities incorporated digital technologies, lending them novel and forward-thinking characteristics. The goal was to inspire global awareness through English while aiming to provide practical English experiences through digital and real learning environments. Based upon assessments, peer evaluation, learner reflections and a feedback survey, the statistical results demonstrated that the flipped classroom significantly reduces learning anxiety while increasing learning interest and effectiveness and higher academic achievement than the traditional approach to teaching English.

Abstract : This qualitative research is a case study of HSA, which maintains kinship values in its education system. This study aimed to examine the forms of interaction within the community and how structures and kinship values form a practical learning experience for children. Data were collected through observation and interviews to see how kinship values were implemented in learning. According to this study, positive values instilled in families prepare children to cope with the real world. Then, kinship values emerge from HSA's three core values. These values are Islam, growth, and ta'awun. By teaching these values to children, they will be equipped with the necessary skills to lead successful lives to help foster strong families and communities. In addition, the valuable principle that "my children are yours, and your children are mine" further strengthens family values among HSA members. The kinship values emphasize the importance of family, focusing on mutual support and care.

Abstract : Numerous studies have been conducted on the Iraq War and its justification, with its controversial nature still debated today. In light of this, several political and linguistic studies have aimed to understand how George W. Bush persuaded the world to remove the Iraqi government. This research analyzed the functions of epistemic modal lexical verbs (EMLVs) used in the State of the Union speeches and the War speeches to explore how they contribute to persuasion techniques in political discourse. Using both quantitative and qualitative methods, the study found that George W. Bush heavily relied on nine main functions of EMLVs in the State of the Union speeches, including Assertion, Assumption, Conviction, Recommendation, Anticipation, Tricky/Elusiveness, Desire, Hedging, and Contemplation. In contrast, the War speeches exhibited eight functions of EMLVs, including Assertion, Hedging, Desire, Conviction, Likelihood/Possibility, Anticipation, Tricky/Elusiveness, and Prediction. The study's findings revealed that EMLVs serve different functions in political discourse, with Assertion being the most frequently used function in both genres. The results suggest that EMLVs are utilized in political speeches to persuade, promote agendas, and gain support for particular initiatives, such as the Iraqi war.

Abstract : Lack of engagement can have serious consequences for student achievement and motivation. Students who are disengaged from the learning process may struggle to retain information and may be less likely to complete assignments or participate in class discussions. This can lead to poor grades, lower academic achievement, and reduced motivation to learn. In many cases, students feel like they are passive recipients of information, rather than active participants in the learning process. Lectures, note-taking, and reading assignments can feel like a chore, rather than an exciting opportunity to learn something new. To combat this issue, many educators are turning to more engaging and interactive teaching methods. By incorporating games and other interactive activities into the classroom, teachers can create a more dynamic and engaging learning environment that promotes active participation and student collaboration, Realia-based games, are one such approach. Abstract :The oversupply condition is due to differences in the current electricity supply which is higher than actual elec tricity demand. One option to increase demand is by converting LPG stoves into induction stoves. To achieve the conversion goal successfully, a customer selection process must be carried out to determine the conversion targets, aiming for a significant increase in electricity demand with the lowest investment costs. The main problem is the absence of standard for determining conversion targets. The combination of clustering techniques and Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) analysis pro vides the best ideal solution to overcome these problems. The research included several main criteria for selecting customers that support the success factors of implementing a conversion program. The initial analysis involved clustering customers based on coordinates using the k-means method. By using the clustered customer data, the TOPSIS (Technique for Ordering Preference by Similarity to an Ideal Solution) method identified the best cluster based on general criteria. Additionally, using the detailed customer data, TOPSIS method also identified the ranking of customer priorities for each selected cluster. The recommended priority target customers are those with the greatest potential for additional kWh, the best level of electricity reliability, shortest distance to the cluster centroid, and supplied by feeders and distribution transformers with the largest reserve margin. The results indicated the difference in revenue improvement compared to the current method was US$ 16,291.31 per month. Investment costs were also reduced by US$ 166,084.80 compared to the current method. Other result was the reduction of operational costs, improvement on average reliability according to the
SAIDI SAIFI, improvement on the average on-hours, and an improvement on the distribution transformer average reserve margins

Abstract : The recent pandemic (COVID-19) changed the way business is conducted in several industries. One of the early responders to the situation was the Information Technology industry. Remote working was already prevalent in the IT Industry but it was only for select employees based on the role that they have been performing. The pandemic situation got everyone to work from home. Working from home was earlier a preferred choice for women employees but during the pandemic they found working from home extremely stressful. This was more prominent with married women who had various additional responsibilities at home. We worked on a detailed questionnaire and reached out to 307 women employees from the IT industry from 27 companies across India. We studied two groups of employees based on their marital status, those who were married/co-living and those where unmarried and living without a partner. We tried to understand and compare the sense of belongingness amongst these two groups of employees. A One Way ANOVA was performed to compare the means and the outcome of the survey. The result was conclusive and corroborated the fact that, working from home was stressful during pandemic for married women. This was primarily due to lack of proper support systems at home. Also, the managers failed to understand the problems faced by married women during the pandemic. While with the onset of return to work initiated by most organizations, these married women prefer to work in a hybrid model. We interviewed a cross section of women employees, their managers and HR personnel. The relevant points that emerged have been tabled as recommendations based on the study.

Abstract :In recent years, the concept of holistic tourism has emerged in China, providing a new perspective and direction for the development of the tourism industry. Government tourism assistance has been shown in research to impact public attitudes toward the tourism sector to some extent. This is particularly prevalent in China, where decision-making is made from the top down. As a result, the purpose of this study was to look at the role of government support in Zhanjiang tourist integrated marketing communication strategy in the context of holistic tourism development. The UTAUT and AIDA models are combined in this work, along with interaction and diversity expectations as independent variables and government assistance as a moderator. The researchers conducted descriptive and inferential analyses after distributing online surveys to 388 Zhanjiang residents. It is found that the major hindrances to Zhanjiang tourism's popularity have been identified as lacking promotion and construction. Furthermore, the results reveal that the audience appreciates receiving tourism information through mainstream media, and their adoption of integrated marketing communication is linked to performance expectation, effort expectation, social impact, interaction expectation, and diversity expectation. Additionally, government assistance is critical in creating Zhanjiang's holistic tourism brand and moderating the relationship between the adoption of integrated marketing interaction and diversity expectations. Overall, the paper states that the government should undertake comprehensive tourism as a key project in the region, supporting the reform of its overall structure and mechanism, and encouraging the participation of all main departments and society.

Abstract :Management information systems (MIS) is the usage of information systems at the operational, tactical, and strategic levels so that businesses are aided in the achievement of goals. (Oprea, 2007) While the use of MIS is already quite common, its many benefits have lately piqued the interest of researchers particularly on the phenomenon of slack. Companies typically prefer to remove slack as it has suffered from a negative reputation. However, recent studies by Bae and Rhee (2014) as well as by Heng, Ding, Guo, and Luo (2014) have shown that slack actually leads to innovation. It is because of these interesting discoveries that pushed the proponent to conduct a study on the contribution of organizational slack towards the innovative performance of Syngenta company. Survey were gathered to provide the needed information. Key informants were likewise interviewed in order to generate additional insights about the variables under investigation. The results showed convincingly that slack affects the innovation of the company. However, some effects of the slacks were positive and some were negative. The recommendations put forward by this research is that JDI should maximize its innovation, they should reduce both absorbed and unabsorbed slack as much as possible since slack and innovation are inversely proportional in JDI’s case. As long as they cut back on excessive spending on equipment and make use of their spare resources like reserve funds, then the innovation the company will surely improve.

Abstract : The ongoing debate on “fast fashion” and environmental impact has created a great divide amongst fashion industry players as well as consumers. The two sides of the narrative posits the upsides to retail manufacturing and consumer accessibility, whereas the other offers responsible consumption with long-term impact. Where fast fashion is defined as clothing manufactured at a rapid production cycle—from design to retail—-for the purpose of creating or leveraging trends. This innovation in the supply chain has enabled clothing companies to introduce capsule collections over a two-week period. The United Nations Environment Programme (2019) published an article citing the ashion industry as responsible for two to eight percent of global carbon emissions, and with implications expanding to a social context. With cognizance of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goal (UN SDG) 12, the conversation leads to a study on sustainable consumption and production patterns. One such company now participating in this conversation is UNIQLO. Considered among global players in the fast fashion sector, the company has decided to consciously depart from this approach towards a more sustainable model. This study focused on an investigation of the customer engagement and the corporate sustainability reputation of UNIQLO consumers as mediated by customer satisfaction. The main concepts include two independent variables of customer engagement, the dependent variable of purchase intention, and the mediator of customer satisfaction. The researchers intend to take a quantitative approach via survey questionnaire, adapting items from measurements scales in previous studies. A total of 449 responses will be obtained from students from Metro Manila, Philippines. The data obtained will undergo statistical tests, including Cronbach’s alpha, Pearson’s correlation, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, and mediation analysis. The results highlighted, firstly, that the variables of customer engagement, corporate sustainability reputation, and customer satisfaction significantly correlate and impact purchase intention. Secondly, it indicated that customer engagement and corporate sustainability reputation can substantially influence purchase intention. And, thirdly, the observation on customer satisfaction partially mediating the relationship between customer engagement and corporate sustainability reputation on purchase intention. As we accelerate towards the United Nation’s call to action on the SDGs come 2030, this study may bear significance to fashion industry practitioners, consumers, the Academe, on legislation, and the UN Alliance for Sustainable Fashion towards shifting the narrative on the fashion sector.

Abstract : Over the last decade, defense activities have significantly shaped contemporary global politics, safeguarding national interests, fostering regional stability, and influencing international relations. Recent developments in the East Sea disputes and other regional conflicts underscore the pivotal significance of defense activities in shaping global political dynamics. As tensions escalate among neighboring nations over territorial claims, defense postures and military capabilities emerge as critical determinants in shaping regional power balances. Nevertheless, the integration of "cooperation" and "diplomacy" with "defense" and "military" introduces complexity and ambiguity, leading to diverse interpretations and practical challenges. This article aims to clarify and precisely define these terminologies to address these complexities, enhancing the precision and effectiveness of conducting defense activities, cooperation, and diplomacy, centering on a typical real-world example involving India. The author will draw upon Joseph Nye's Soft Power theory and the Cooperation as Self-help theory as theoretical foundations to achieve this. The article identifies that defense cooperation is indispensable in modern international relations, shaping nations' foreign policies amidst a complex global landscape.

Abstract : This study investigates the impact of emotions on consumer purchase intentions within the context of health protection, focusing on the COVID-19 pandemic and respiratory illnesses. Emotions are categorized into integral and incidental, examining fear-based campaigns and well-being associations in relation to consumers' intention to purchase vitamins. Utilizing the Appraisal-Tendency Framework and the Theories of Planned Behavior and Protection Motivation, we empirically test a set of hypotheses. Drawing from a randomly selected sample of 411 respondents from customers of drugstores selling vitamins, this research employs path analysis as the primary statistical technique. The results reveal significant effects of various factors on purchase intention, with varying degrees of influence. Notably, perceived behavioral control emerges as the most influential. While Threat and Coping Appraisal exhibit comparatively lower influence, they still contribute to the decision-making process. Emotion's impact is consistent with prior studies, indicating the significance of both positive and negative emotions in influencing protective behaviors. Furthermore, Theory of Planned Behavior constructs, specifically, subjective norms and attitude, significantly shape purchase intention. This study advances our understanding of emotion-driven consumer behavior, highlighting the vital role of emotions, appraisals, and psychological constructs in shaping purchase intentions within the domain of health protection.

Abstract : This Exploratory-Descriptive Qualitative (EDQ) study investigates the impact of a successful Four-day Compressed Work Week (CWW) on Work-Life Balance (WLB) and Job Performance (JP) of Filipino employees amidst COVID-19's business disruptions. Through semi-structured interviews and surveys, 32 participants' experiences under the CWW are examined, employing thematic and correlational analyses alongside relevant literature. Results highlight the CWW's positive influence on WLB facets—social dynamics, working conditions, economics, and well-being—culminating in enriched family time, balanced workplaces, cost reduction, and improved wellness. Additionally, improved WLB, coupled with CWW attributes, fosters superior JP, evident in task, contextual, and adaptive performance enhancements, coupled with decreased counterproductive behaviors. This manifests as heightened productivity, proactive task engagement, skill advancement, and reduced absenteeism. The study establishes a local foundation for reshaping Philippine work norms, proposing widespread CWW integration in suitable sectors. Beyond cost savings, companies can elevate employee well-being without hurting job performance and while aligning with long-term goals.

Abstract :Since the European refugee crisis in 2015, the consequences of mass migration have created changes affecting European Union (EU) and other European nations. Scholars, and academic institutions, specifically, in Europe have conducted studies and research to assist policy makers and humanitarian organizations in order to understand and cope with the changes. This bibliometric review of research analyzed 845 Scopus-indexed documents related to migration in Europe between 2014 to the 2022. The aims of the review are to document the volume, scopes, and distribution of the European migration literature, journals, and publications, identify key authors, analyze the intellectual structure of this knowledge base, and highlight emerging research issues. Author co-citation analysis revealed five research clusters that underlie this knowledge base and author keyword analysis identified 2 scopes of research; migration governance and studies of transition and acculturation with economic studies of migration issue. The results of this review provide; (a) scopes for future reviews of research on migration studies, (b) the existing and emerging intellectual structure of this inter-disciplinary field, and (c) reference points for scholars to further study of the issue European migration.
